This one may really be a four star book, but I laughed a lot while reading it, because it's portrayal of the near future was funny and disturbing. I agree with someone out there who gave it two stars and said that the love between Lenny and Eunice wasn't described/evoked/established properly, undermining the 'super sad' part but I'm wondering if that isn't the author's failure but the characters. Maybe that's what makes it 'super sad'.
